Excerpt from Demonic: Book One of the Soul Trade Saga

Robin shone the light into the dark crack. The narrow tunnel beyond disappeared into the water. The only way to further explore it was to dive down, after squeezing into the crevice.

“Fuck!” he slammed his wet palm against the smooth unyielding stone. He stood there in frustration, water up to his armpits, lapping at his chest. There was nothing he could do—as he could never fit through the crevice.

It was a standoff.

Tin had seen his new comrades in arms in combat. He believed the four of them could defeat the riders in an even fight. Even without the half-elf’s monster, which was suspiciously nowhere to be found. But the four riders were on horseback. And beneath their blue tabards, hard mail glinted. Tadok’s crossbow bolt would penetrate cloth, leather or chain. Steel plates, though? Tin wasn’t sure.

Demonic

Book One of The Soul Trade Saga

One good deed in a bad land.

That's all three unlikely companions thought they were doing when they came across a grizzly sight in the outskirts of a sleepy hamlet in the wilderness of the Suldan Mountains. Little did they know that this one act of kindness would set them off on a spirling path of danger and adventure.

Join them as they stumble their way past bloodthirsty bandits, crazed acolytes and undead guardians - all in hopes of finding one lost boy in a race against time.

Demonic is the first book of the Soul Trade Saga - an epic fantasy adventure which will determine nothing less than the future of the lands of Trosia - and the souls of all who inhabit it.

Demon's Day

Book Two of The Soul Trade Saga

Stay your claw, stay your fang—pen the tale, or burn and hang.

Demon’s Day draws all manner of folk to Sebin.

For some, it is a safe haven after a blood-soaked road. For others, a place where long-sought answers await—redemption, power, or something darker.

For Bunda, Tadok, and Robin, Sebin holds both hope and despair.

From the lofty spires of the Academy of Enlightenment to the shadowed depths of the Undermarket, they are plunged into a web of danger and deceit as they race to solve a murder and save a city before it is engulfed by an ancient curse. Because in Sebin, triumph is fleeting—and there are fates far worse than death.

Demon’s Day is the second book in The Soul Trade Saga, where the journey continues, the horrors deepen, and the unthinkable must be faced again

...And again.

My mom got me this book to try something new while on vacation, and I’m so glad she did. By the middle I was completely hooked and stayed up way too late reading. As an avid reader, and a critical one, I was drawn into this book from page one. I love the way the author develops characters, which is a crucial component of successful literature for me. As an avid reader, and a critical one, I was drawn into this book from page one. I love the way the author develops characters, which is a crucial component of successful literature for me. And I love the characters totally. And their personalities. Which are fabulous, and consistent throughout the book. Also love the idea that every once in a while, subtly through the story line, the author manages to remind us who all the different characters are...as there are many...and often difficult to remember.... and love the back and forth between the past and the present, which is well done and not confusing as it is in some books where this idea is used. And of course, the plot...which got better and better the more I read. There is a little too much fighting for me, but the author manages to describe each scene so well, it is amazing. I could truly picture the battles in my mind’s eye. And of course, the epilogue...oh my!!!! Getting us all ready and excited about the next book. If you love fantasy, this book will definitely give you a great read, and well worth purchasing!

About the Author

“Let me offer you a trade. A story for a story and a song for a song. A fable for a fable.”— The Wordsmith

E.Y. Bluestein lives in northern Israel with his wife and three boys. When he isn’t dreaming up demons, sorcerers, and the tangled histories of Trosia, he works as a business development director for a large tech firm. It may not be as glamorous as the intrigues of a fractured empire, but it pays the mortgage—and he’s fairly good at it.

Demonic is his first published novel and the opening chapter of The Soul Trade Saga, an epic fantasy journey of adventure, sacrifice, ancient powers, and some good old hack-and-slash.

E.Y Bluestein is an active member of the The Fantasy Writers’ Association.
